Thank you for visiting! I am so pleased to have you come by my online home.
I want to introduce myself. I am Pamela, and I do live in a sweet little pink house in Atlantic Canada. I am a Home Economist and have taught high school for almost 25 years now. Apart from teaching, I wear a myriad of other hats, just like you do; I am a mother, grandmother, home owner, writer, gardener and life- long learner.
Looking backward I can see that my life has been a series or transitional change, and the process of creating normal life after. I have married, had children, started a career, divorced, bought my dream house, became and empty nester and a grandmother. I find myself in view of another huge transition, retirement, and building and online business.
I find that the remaining constant in all of my life changes is that I am a Home Economist, and I bring that passion to whatever I do. I love homemaking. Really, I love every aspect of it. I believe that “home” is the magical transformation of a house or room into a sacred space where we can recharge before heading out into the greater world. Home is the gift that we give ourselves and our families, it is the space that we are our most authentic.
In this online space I want to invite you in and share the aspects of home making, from meal management, cleaning and organization, financial management, personal development and spirituality, goal setting and planning as well as anything else that I might think of.
I have been so fortunate over the past 25 years to share many of these things with my students, but this blog opens an opportunity to dialogue with you.
Grab yourself a hot drink, and sit for a bit. I have lots I want to share.
Pamela
